It all needs serious work:
1) Why are those sprites so tiny? They look like ants wandering about in an overwhelmingly big, blank scenery.
2) The backdrop is so blank it ain't funny. It needs serious work.
3) Where's the action? I mean, the sprites kept coming back and forth, but nothing happened.

From 0:00 to about 1:30 it's a remix of Flame Stag's stage theme from Mega Man X2.
I think the author should give proper credit in his comments.
I did. It's in the short description, not the comments. Maybe that's why the first few people seem to think it's original. I guess you have to make everything so extremely blatantly obvious other wise people will want to chew you out.
